Course Summary

The Robotics Modular 2 Course will support learners who have an interest in this subject and wish to pursue a career in engineering and robotics and have completed the Introduction to Industrial Robotics for beginners. Learners may have completed a previous Engineering qualification and wish to progress onto Level 3 or higher-level qualifications, or to gain/develop knowledge and skills required to work in industries aligned to Industrial Robotics prior to making crucial career decisions.

This course will support upskilling within their current roles, which can then be used to progress into more senior/complex job roles, or to support a career change into Automation/Industrial Robotics sectors.

This qualification prepares learners who are looking towards a career in Advanced manufacturing. This course aims to support adults to gain insight into Industrial Robotics prior to either embarking on a career change, or prior to enrolling onto a higher-level apprenticeship or classroom-based qualification. This course will also support adults who aspire to work within Engineering/Robotics sectors and will develop their confidence and ability to support increased job opportunities into the Engineering/Robotics sectors.

The course is also applicable to learners who have had a break in their education and who need to recap prior knowledge/ develop study skills before embarking on a higher education course. We would recommend completing the Industrial Robotics for beginners prior to this Intermediate course.
