You can apply for a Higher Education course throughout the year. Some of our courses are only applicable via the Universities and Colleges Admissions Service known as UCAS (Choose your future | UCAS),  for others you can apply directly to us via this website.

If you are already studying at Dudley College of Technology or Dudley Sixth you are advised to speak to a member of the Learner Services Team before applying as there are special provisions for “internal candidates”.

Start your Higher Education journey in a few simple steps: 

Full-Time Courses

  1. Apply for the course via UCAS.  
  2. Once your application has been received, a course tutor will be in touch to discuss the course suitability for you
  3. You will have a discussion with the course tutor and have the opportunity to ask any questions about the course.  
  4. Following this discussion the Tutor will inform our Admissions team, of the outcome. Our Admissions team will then be in touch to progress your application through the UCAS portal.

Part-Time Courses

  1. Find the course you’re interested in on our website and apply online.  
  2. Once your application has been received, a course tutor will be in touch.
  3.  You will have a discussion with the course tutor and have the opportunity to ask any questions about the course.  
  4. Following any discussions the Tutor will verbally confirm your place on the course and then inform the Learner Services Team who will phone you or email you to complete your enrolment.   
  5. In all cases you will need to sign the enrolment form and if you are paying for the programme complete your initial payment. If you are applying for a student loan the enrolment team will guide you through what you need to do.
  6. Once fully enrolled, you will then be able to start your course on the first day of learning as detailed in your onboarding email.
