Higher achievement rate
Due to the exceptional Covid-19 impact on learning, all HE students who were retained but not yet achieved by the end of the 2019/20 academic year, were permitted to continue their studies into the following year. Therefore, the notional HE classroom-based achievement rate for 2019/20 of 100% is not directly comparable with the current year 2020/21.
However, comparing 2020/21 to 2018/19 is valid and that shows a creditable increase from 87% to 95%.
