Hot Glass Taster Day

This taster day prepares learners who are looking towards a career in Art and Design.

Always wanted to try working with hot glass? This one day taster course will give you a unique experience working with molten glass gathered from a furnace. You will learn to blow, roll and manipulate glass all of this in our state of the art glass studio at Dudley Evolve. If you have never used glass before or have limited knowledge then this is your opportunity to create something amazing using hot glass.

This taster day includes learning how to gather from a furnace, blow glass, shape, manipulate and create a unique piece of glassware in a fun and freindly atmosphere. Drinks are provided but please bring a packed lunch.

The assessments for this qualification are contiunious.

All class-based materials will be provided.

College Taster Day Certificate

This qualification may lead to employment in the industry of Glass work or to further study/higher education.

For entry onto this taster day there are no formal entry requirements. This course is suitable for all levels from complete beginner to the more advanced as the tutor will adapt to your requirements.

Due to limited spaces, priority will be given to first-time learners enrolling on this taster day.
