You will be paired up with an experienced engineer to maintain, calibrate and conduct routine services to ensure that the diverse range of equipment we supply is functioning correctly and is performing to specification. As part of your studies, you will be required to undertake 1-day study per week.

This role supports the assembly and installation of mechanical service modules for major UK projects including hospitals and stadiums. Working within a delivery-focused team, you’ll install pipework into steel frames, assemble plant rooms, and develop both traditional and modern pipe fitting skills.

You’ll fabricate structural steel frames for major new-build projects including hospitals and stadiums. Working from construction drawings, you’ll mark out, cut, assemble, and weld steel components using modern and traditional methods, gaining hands-on skills with full training and support from experienced fabricators.

You’ll fabricate and weld pipework for water systems used in hospitals, schools, and airports. Working from drawings, you’ll use modern and traditional techniques to produce high-quality pipework for site installation or module assembly, gaining hands-on skills with full training and strong safety focus.

As a Fabricator Technician Apprentice, you will develop the skills required to manufacture and assemble metal components and structures to exact specifications. You will work with a variety of materials and fabrication techniques, ensuring all work meets Ishida’s high standards of quality, safety, and precision.

As a Machining Apprentice, you will be trained to work in a modern manufacturing environment, producing precision-engineered components for world-leading food packaging machinery. You will learn how to operate CNC and manual machines, carry out inspections, and ensure all components meet Ishida’s high-quality and safety standards.
