Course Summary
The Stourbridge FC Academy is a unique full time football programme run in conjunction with Dudley College. The programme enables talented male and female players aged 16-18 to study any courses on offer. This means we have students not just focused on sporting subjects at our Evolve campus, but, aspiring engineers in Advance buildings, budding entrepreneurs completing business courses and a number of A level students at Dudley Sixth.
Players receive up to 10 hours of football per week with a typical football timetable seeing players train on Monday & Friday afternoons. Matches on a Wednesday afternoon and bespoke strength and conditioning sessions on Tuesday & Thursday afternoons.
The majority of home matches will again be played at the War Memorial Athletic Ground with training at Dudley College's state of the art 3G pitch and indoor facilities including gym and six court sports hall.
The Football Academy is a joint venture between Dudley College and Stourbridge FC and will provide Football Academy students with an excellent opportunity to train alongside Stourbridge FC 1st team players whilst gaining their academic qualifications - opening up hundreds of career prospects.
This is an ideal opportunity for talented players to make that first step towards a professional playing career or step into non league football whilst also developing a transferable skillset that will open up a range of career possibilities.
