Course Summary

Uniformed Services encompasses training and education for careers in various public service fields where individuals wear a uniform and often perform roles related to safety, security, and community service. This area includes disciplines such as law enforcement, firefighting, emergency medical services (EMS), and military service. Courses in this field focus on developing skills required for these professions, including physical training, leadership, and specialised technical knowledge.

Course Assessment

You are assessed by a variety of methods including:
• Practical observations
• Oral questioning
• Written modular tests.
• Production of a portfolio of evidence
• Internally and externally set assignments and/or examinations

You will need:
Uniform £30-50 approx
Walking clothing although we have a small supply to loan.
Residentials £75 approx

Progression

The table show you the areas of public services and sport subjects along with the levels you are likely to study at depending upon your final GCSE grades. Offers will be made based on your indicated grades and the levels available within the progression table.
