Course Summary
Plastering is the process of applying a mixture of water, sand, and cement (or gypsum) to surfaces like walls and ceilings to create a smooth finish. It serves both functional and aesthetic purposes, providing a durable surface that can be painted or decorated. There are different types of plastering techniques, including traditional wet plastering, dry plastering (using plasterboards), and decorative plastering (such as stucco). Proper preparation and technique are key to achieving a quality finish.
