Clinical Coder at Moss Grove Surgery, formerly a Business Administration Level 3 Apprentice
I wanted to learn the role of Business Administration and by doing an Apprenticeship I got the qualification and the experience, while being paid at the same time.
I have now finished my Apprenticeship and secured a full-time job as a Clinical Coder at the surgery where I did all of my training. My Apprenticeship gave me the required skills and understanding to follow this career path.
I could not have asked for a better tutor at college. Jane was so supportive and always on hand to help - I cannot praise her enough. The assessor was lovely, very patient and kind. They made the stressful situation of presentations and interviews more comfortable and less intimidating as I often struggled with verbal exams.
I would definitely recommend Apprenticeships as a way of starting or advancing your career.
