GCSE English grade 5, formally a student at Wombourne High
I want to become a Paramedic so when I left school I came to college to study Health & Social Care - I’ve passed Level 1 and now I’m progressing to Level 2. I left school with grade 2 in GCSE English and I needed to improve my grade so I can continue my studies. I’m so happy with my grade 5 – a whole 3 grades higher than I got at school.
My English tutor has been brilliant. Encouraging me to succeed and she responds straight away when I needed help. She also provided extra resources when I needed it.
I get two buses to travel to college but it’s worth the journey. I’m really happy with my grade and I’m looking forward to next year. You really do get out what you put in. All the hard work is worth it.
