Pillar 4: Partnerships and Engagement

Overarching Aim: To build strong partnerships and engage with the community and industry to advance sustainability goals. We aim to create a broader impact by ensuring our initiatives both contribute to and benefit from the wider sustainability efforts around Dudley College.

At our college, we are dedicated to embedding environmental responsibility into our core values, as outlined in our 2024-2027 Strategic Plan.

Our Students’ Union proudly hosts the “Eco Warriors” group, where students champion green issues and advocate for sustainability during Learner Voice meetings.

Each year, we also honour outstanding student contributions to sustainability with a Special Student Award for Sustainability.

In alignment with SDG17, Partnerships for the Goals, we have established supportive partnerships with various stakeholders, including the Association of Colleges (AoC) as a member of the Sustainability & Climate Change Reference Group, West Midlands Combined Authority (WMCA), and West Midlands Colleges Net Zero Group. Through these collaborations, we share best practices and advocate for governmental support to enhance the sustainability of our campuses.
