An Apprenticeship in Hairdressing will develop your employability skills and give you valuable experience of a variety of routine hairdressing related activities. You will be working in a salon environment where your duties could encompass many areas of hairdressing such as communicating with colleagues and clients, dealing with customer enquiries, carrying out numerous practical hairdressing tasks etc. Your exact duties will depend upon your employer.

As a Beauty Therapy Apprentice you will work in a salon environment assisting senior therapists with treatments. You will be customer-focussed so you need to be caring, approachable and have good listening skills. The world of beauty therapy is about improving people’s well-being by making them look and feel better about themselves.
