Course Summary
This course is designed for students with a special educational need or disability with an interest in art, mixed media and digital and would like to pursue a career or further education in creative industries.
Students take part in projects that explore a variety of medias, to develop a portfolio and final interest piece. Students benefit from visiting speakers from creative industries as well as visits to local galleries and exhibitions.
Students also develop skills to support their preparation for adulthood, including employability, looking after themselves in the home, travel and community cohesion.
All students will take part in real-life work experience in our Aspire Shop, learning how to run a business, work with the public and back-of-house preparation.

Students will be individually assessed at interview by both Support & Curriculum Teams to ensure academic and support needs can be met by the college.
