The Director for Institute of Technology and Partnerships will be the senior lead for the ongoing development of the Black Country and Marches Institute of Technology (IoT) and the external partnerships that support the success of our IoT and the wider college. For the Institute of Technology, the postholder will work closely with all internal and external partners to ensure that our programmes and services are delivered to a high standard. They will continue to develop relationships with partner higher education institutions that support progression for our students in the IoT and beyond.

The postholder will also ensure the college remains responsive to industry needs by developing close working relationships with employers who input into the development and delivery of our provision, in turn contributing to the achievement of student recruitment targets. As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, the postholder will work across the college and make a significant contribution to the wider development of the college and its strategic direction.

The Executive Director Public Affairs and Marketing shapes and manages the development and maintenance of marketing activities which effectively meet the college’s strategic objectives. Reporting to the Chief Executive and Principal and working closely with the college’s curriculum and employer facing teams, with key staff in the Dudley Academies Trust and across the college’s wider operations, this post holder is responsible for our integrated brand and marketing strategy to promote the College’s vison and objectives, drive brand presence and reputation, and increase student numbers. The Executive Director Public Affairs and Marketing will raise the external profile of the college locally, regionally and nationally and will build trust with colleagues, value others, communicate effectively, drive execution, foster innovation and demonstrate high integrity. Through strong leadership the Executive Director Public Affairs and Marketing will motivate and inspire the marketing team and other staff to deliver measurable outputs. 

The Executive Director Estates and Capital Projects is the senior post responsible for all matters relating to the college’s property, health and safety, estates and facilities management. The Executive Director Estates and Capital Projects will oversee the strategic development and operational management of estates and capital projects, in line with the college’s commitment to sustainability and value for money. 

The Director of Human Resources is responsible for the development and operation of the college’s human resource management framework, the planning of staff resources and the ongoing maintenance of good staff relations in the college and its related organisations. The Director of Human Resources shapes and manages all aspects of  the human resource framework in order to bring about continuous improvement and the effective and efficient delivery of all personnel and human resource services. The Director of Human Resources provides management and support to human resources and payroll teams. They also have a lead responsibility for Equality, Diversity and Inclusion across all of the college’s activities.
