Aspiring Teaching Course – Information Evening & First Class

Interested in a career in teaching? Our comprehensive free* course is designed to equip aspiring teachers like you with the essential skills and knowledge needed to thrive in the classroom.

It will give you a taster of the professional skills you will develop as a teacher and allow you to assess if it is the right career choice for you. The course consists of a variety of weekly modules which will prepare you for entering the teaching profession. In this 8-week course you will learn how to plan, deliver and evaluate teaching practice. The sessions are designed for those with little/no previous experience of teaching who are interested in passing on their existing skills and experience, by pursuing a teaching role on a full or part-time basis.

Adult Enrolment Events

Do you want to turn your passion into a rewarding career? Are you ready to learn something new?

We have an exciting range of part-time courses starting in 2024.

If you’re aged 19+ and would like study with us, come along to our Broadway Campus to enrol. We will be open on the following days and times:

  • Monday 2nd September, 9.30am until 4pm
  • Tuesday 3rd September, 9.30am until 7pm
  • Wednesday 4th September, 9.30am until 7pm
  • Thursday 5th September, 9.30am until 7pm
  • Friday 6th September, 9.30am until 4pm
  • Saturday 7th September, 10am until 2pm.

You will need to bring the following information with you:

  • Evidence of all of your current qualifications
  • Proof of identity such as passport, debit card or driving licence.
