Live Events Production is an innovative, hands-on course that gives you the skills to thrive in the fast-paced world of live performance and creative production.
Course Content
Whilst studying on the course you will be able to explore:
• Technical Theatre: Lighting, sound, stage management, set design, and backstage operations.
• Sound Engineering: Live sound engineering, mixing, and digital audio technology.
• Live Event Production: Plan, design, and deliver real performances—from concerts to theatre shows.
• Creative Collaboration: Work as part of a production team, developing both leadership and teamwork skills.
• Industry Skills: Gain experience with professional equipment and software used in theatres, studios, and live venues.

Course Assessment
You will be assessed through a range of practical and written assignments. External moderation of some units is likely. The form of assessment on the course will assist you as you progress either into higher levels of vocational learning or to related academic qualifications.
Materials
All reading materials for this course are available from the college library. You will be required to pay £30 towards educational visits.

The progression table shows you all our creative, media, performance arts and production arts subjects along with the levels you are likely to study at depending upon your final GCSE grades. Offers will be made based on your indicated grades and the levels available within the progression table.
