Course Summary

Surveying and design involve measuring land, structures, and spaces to gather precise data for planning and construction projects. Surveyors use specialized tools to assess land features, boundaries, and topography, which are crucial for designing infrastructure like roads, buildings, and utilities. The design aspect focuses on creating plans and layouts based on these measurements to ensure accuracy and functionality in construction.

Surveying and design suit individuals who are detail-oriented, enjoy working both outdoors and with technology, and have strong mathematical and analytical skills. It’s ideal for those who like problem-solving, precision, and contributing to the development of physical spaces and structures.
