Course Summary
Special effects make-up is a specialszed field within make-up artistry focused on creating realistic and dramatic effects for film, television, theatre, and other performance media. It involves the use of various techniques and materials to transform actors' appearances, simulate injuries, age characters, or create fantastical creatures. This area combines artistic skill with technical knowledge to achieve compelling and believable effects.
Course Content
There are many elements to the production arts area and depending on the level of course that you start with us you can look forward to studying many topics that provides you with the skills and knowledge needed to work within the production arts areas of film, television and theatre. inlcuding:

Course Assessment
You will be assessed on your coursework, both practical and project-based.
Materials
You will need to buy a make-up kit at a cost of £100 per year (£200 in total).
