Course Summary

The T Level Transition Programme is a programme for level 2 learners who aspire to progress onto a T Level. Its purpose is to help learners develop a broad range of knowledge, skills and behaviours that will help them to progress onto, and succeed on, their chosen T Level route.

This course will enable learners to develop their English, maths and digital skills as well as other skills critical for successful study and employment. Learners will also develop their knowledge and skills for the workplace by gaining industry relevant technical knowledge and acquiring soft skills in communication and behaviour.

Course Content

You will learn:

• the theory of business, business enterprise, finance, customer service, and recruitment and selection.
• Digital skills relevant to the business world
• GCSE maths or English
• Strategies that lead to a positive attitude and behaviour

You will also engage in an industry relevant work placement.

Course Assessment

Externally set exam for Finance.
Further assessment by internal exams, presentations, and business reports.
GCSE maths or English exam.

Materials

You are expected to bring your own folder/plastic wallets/dividers/paper/pens.

Qualifications

Business BTEC Level 2 Award
GSCE English or maths grade 4 or above
Management and Administration T-Level Transition Certificate (Dudley College)

Progression

Management and Administration T Level - Level 3 or other business level 3 programmes.

Entry Requirements

5 GCSEs which must include a grade 4 or above in Maths or English. The remaining GCSEs in business related subjects at grades 3.
