Course Content
There will be 8 mandatory units and 5 optional units over this 2 year course.
Mandatory units:
• Developing a marketing campaign
• Developing an Enterprise Strategy
• Enterprise and Entrepreneurs
• Launch and Run an Enterprise
• Personal and Business Finance
• Principals of Management
• Business Decision Making
• Survival and Growth
The optional units may include areas of study such as social enterprise, innovation and enterprises, recruitment and election and marketing.
Course Assessment
You will be internally assessed via professional business reports, presentations; in class controlled assessments, independent research tasks as well as 4 externally set exams.
Materials
Standard study materials and course text book. Smart business wear is essential.
Qualifications
Pearson BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma in Enterprise and Entrepreneurship.
Progression
University; apprenticeships; employment or self-employment.
Entry Requirements
5 GCSEs at grade 4 or above including Maths and English, or a Level 2 in Business or related qualification with a Level 2 Merit plus English and Maths Functional Skills at Level 2 .
