Course Content
The course consists of 5 units, 2 mandatory units:
• Working in Administration
• Written Business Communications
and 3 optional which may include:
• Career planning in Administration
• Communicate with Customers
• Teamwork in Administration
• Financial Transactions
• Organise Business Travel and Accommodation
• Organise Meetings
• Handling Diary Systems
• Verbal Communication in business
Course Assessment
The assessment for this course is predominately portfolio based and evidence for assessment may be generated through a range of diverse activities including assignment and project work, case studies, workplace assessment, role play and oral presentations.
Materials
You will need pens, paper, USB, ring binder, dividers and plastic wallets. For finance you will need a maths set and a calculator.
Qualifications
OCR Administration (Business Professional) Diploma Level 2
Progression
Your natural route for progression would be to continue onto the OCR Level 3 Administration course. You could however, continue onto another Level 3, apprenticeship or employment.
Entry Requirements
4 GCSE’s which must include a grade 4 or above in English.
The remaining GCSE’S at grades 3, or Merit at Level 1 course with Level 2 Functional English or Maths.
